Kyoto cultural heritage highlighted through community initiatives and traditional crafts

In Kyoto's Kamigyo Ward, the community development group NPO Heiankyo has created a specialized karuta card game to promote the local area's rich history and cultural heritage.

Additionally, the traditional woodblock printing workshop Takesasado has been featured in a Kyoto special edition of the magazine Hanako. The publication highlights the workshop's handmade items, including woodblock-printed envelopes, book covers, and greeting cards, showcasing the unique colors and textures achieved through manual printing processes.
