Kyoto hosts jewelry and YBA art exhibitions

Two notable art shows are currently running in Kyoto. One exhibition explores contemporary jewellery, featuring the work of Japanese artist Fumio Taguchi, whose pieces use fine metal and fibre techniques to create self‑illuminating effects. The show is highlighted in the city’s cultural coverage.

The second exhibit, “YBA & Beyond,” is on display at the Kyoto City Kyocera Museum of Art. It presents British art from the 1990s, originally curated by Tate, and includes gallery talks and free audio guides for visitors.
