Kyoto offers parent‑child craft workshop and investment seminar

On August 2, a free summer craft workshop for parents and children was held at the Chūdan Cultural Hall in Ayabe City, Kyoto Prefecture. About 260 children worked with a crafts artist to create pottery, chalk art and cardboard projects.

The same day, Kyoto Bank organized a "parent‑child investment" seminar at its Financial University campus in Kyoto’s Minami Ward. Elementary‑school participants played a game that simulated investing, with one child noting his virtual portfolio grew sixfold.

Both events were designed to provide educational, hands‑on experiences for families in the Kyoto region.
