Kyoto sightseeing trip covers Matsuo Taisha and Arashiyama

A traveler documents a sightseeing excursion through Kyoto, starting from Osaka. The journey includes a visit to Matsuo Taisha, where the visitor noted the sacred spring used for sake brewing and prayed for longevity at the ‘Nade-game-san’ turtle statue.

The itinerary continued to Tsukuyomi Shrine before proceeding to the Arashiyama district. After crossing the Togetsukyo Bridge, the traveler enjoyed a lemon grated radish udon lunch before taking the Randen tram to Kitano Tenmangu. The visit concluded with observations of the shrine’s plum blossoms and the historic Ema-dokoro.
