Kyoto to host pavilion at SEMICON Japan 2026

Kyoto Prefecture and Kyoto City have announced the establishment of a “Kyoto Pavilion” at SEMICON Japan 2026. The initiative aims to promote the development of the semiconductor industry and facilitate business matching and market expansion for local companies.

SEMICON Japan is one of the largest semiconductor industry exhibitions in Japan, covering manufacturing technologies, equipment, materials, and smart applications. The Kyoto Pavilion will be held from December 9 to 11, 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight.

The project is driven by the Committee for the Execution of Growth Strategies for Kyoto's Manufacturing Industry in the AI Era, a collaborative body of industry, academia, and government established in April 2025. Participating exhibitors include various specialized firms providing high-precision components, laser processing equipment, cooling technologies, and semiconductor materials.
