Kypseli: Human remains discovered in trash bag near Alepotrypa stadium

Authorities in Kypseli are conducting an intensive investigation after human remains, including a skull, were discovered in a blue trash bag in an abandoned area near the Alepotrypa stadium. The discovery was made by a football academy director who was retrieving a ball that had been kicked out of the field during training.

Preliminary findings suggest the death may have occurred more than six months ago. Investigators are currently examining the condition of the bag, which appears relatively new, suggesting the remains may have been moved to the location recently. Police are reviewing security camera footage from the surrounding area to identify any suspicious activity.

In a related development, a second bag containing smaller bones was found approximately 400 meters from the initial site. Forensic experts and anthropologists are analyzing the remains to determine the sex of the individual and whether they match any recent or historical missing persons reports. The site remains cordoned off as the investigation continues.
