A 43-year-old Greek man and a 38-year-old German woman, identified through DNA testing as the biological parents, are facing charges of intentional homicide.

Forensic examinations revealed that the infant suffered approximately 20 knife wounds to the back, which investigators determined were inflicted before death. The parents have provided conflicting testimonies; the man claimed the infant died of natural causes in 2022 and that the wounds occurred while the body was frozen, a claim contradicted by medical findings. The woman has reportedly shifted blame toward her partner, stating she was absent at the time of death.

Three other children, aged 9, 12, and 15, were found in the residence. The children testified that they knew the infant was dead and kept in a freezer but claimed they were unaware of criminal activity. The 15-year-old daughter is currently pregnant by a 26-year-old Afghan man, who is also in custody facing charges related to sexual acts with a minor and possession of ammunition.

The suspects are currently in custody facing additional charges, including drug trafficking and failure to report a death. The investigation is ongoing as authorities examine the living conditions and the history of the household.
