Greek opposition criticizes Prime Minister Mitsotakis

Greek opposition parties have launched a wave of criticism against Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis following his recent social media posts. Major political groups, including PASOK, SYRIZA, and KKE, have accused the government of failing to manage the energy crisis and the rising cost of living.

PASOK spokesperson Kostas Tsoukalas criticized the government's debt restructuring plan, specifically questioning why the interest rate remains at 5.8% and calling for the cancellation of interest. SYRIZA and KKE further alleged that the administration's policies prioritize energy corporations and fail to address the reality of high rents, fuel costs, and supermarket prices.

Additionally, Kyriakos Velopoulos, leader of Greek Solution, attacked the administration's energy and foreign policies. He criticized the de-lignitization process for leaving the country energy-vulnerable and expressed opposition to Greece's involvement in the war in Ukraine.
