Kyumei Byoto 24-ji announces new cast for 2026 revival

Fuji TV has announced additional cast members for the upcoming sixth installment of the medical drama series ‘Kyumei Byoto 24-ji’ (ER 24/7), scheduled to premiere on October 12, 2026. The new cast includes Mayu Yokota, Shoki Nakayama, and Anna.

Yokota and Nakayama will make their first appearances in a Monday 9 PM drama slot, portraying second-year medical residents Mei Tanaka and Tatsuhei Nagara, respectively. Anna returns to the franchise after previously appearing as a patient in the fifth series; she will now play Yuuka Azechi, a fourth-year nurse known for her direct personality and extensive field experience.

The series marks a return for original leads Yosuke Eguchi and Nanase Matsushima, who reunite after 16 years to depict the challenges of modern emergency medicine, including work-style reforms and generational shifts in the medical field.
