Kyungnam Energy continues 17-year housing support for children

Kyungnam Energy has continued its 17-year social contribution initiative, ‘A House Like a Home,’ in partnership with ChildFund Korea. The program focuses on improving the living environments of children from families in need within the local community.

During the recent volunteer activity, employees of Kyungnam Energy participated directly in tasks such as organizing homes and replacing wallpaper and flooring. The company selects two households annually to receive customized support, which can include bathroom renovations and other necessary repairs to ensure a safe and clean living space for children.

CEO Shin Chang-dong stated that the company intends to continue its warm sharing efforts to help children grow in a healthy and safe environment. In addition to housing improvements, Kyungnam Energy provides various forms of support for vulnerable children, including heating and cooling expenses and essential supplies.
