Kyviškės opens modern outdoor sports facility

A modern outdoor sports area has officially opened at Kyviškės Primary School. The project, funded by the Vilnius District Municipality with 300,000 euros, covers approximately 2,600 square meters.

The new facility includes a universal basketball and volleyball court, a separate volleyball area, a football pitch, and a two-lane running track. All surfaces are covered with safe rubber coating to reduce injury risks and allow for use after rain. The space is designed for both school students during physical education classes and the general residents of the Šatrininkai eldership for leisure.

Vilnius District Mayor Robertas Duchnevičius participated in the opening ceremony, noting the importance of providing safe and engaging spaces for children in the rapidly growing Kyviškės community.
