Kézdivásárhely infrastructure: Bicycle path and road works progress

Infrastructure projects are advancing in the Kézdivásárhely and Kézdiszentlélek regions. Construction has begun on the administrative territory of Kézdivásárhely for the long-awaited bicycle path connecting the two towns. The contractor, Strabag, is now working on the Kézdivásárhely section, meaning work is simultaneously progressing from both the Kézdiszentlélek and Kézdivásárhely sides.

Additionally, the modernization of Kanta Street in Kézdivásárhely has reached the asphalt paving stage. Following the removal of old surfaces and utility upgrades, crews are currently paving parking areas, with the roadway and sidewalks to follow. Due to monument protection requirements, certain sections of the street will retain cobblestones rather than receiving asphalt. This project also includes the creation of a new bicycle path along the street.
