KZN SIM Ziemia Krakowska launches 148‑unit social housing project in Krakow
On 15 May, KZN SIM Ziemia Krakowska signed a contract with Draft Engineers to prepare multidisciplinary design and cost documentation for two modern multi‑family buildings on Padniewskiego Street in Krakow. The development is part of the Social Housing Initiative (SIM) aimed at expanding affordable rental housing for families who cannot buy on the commercial market. The project will provide 148 apartments, with a building permit targeted for the first quarter of next year and completion planned for the first quarter of 2030. Krakow Mayor Aleksander Miszalski emphasized the need for stable, energy‑efficient rental offers, while Deputy Mayor Maria Klaman highlighted quality architecture, green spaces and communal facilities as standards for the city’s social housing. KZN SIM Ziemia Krakowska currently operates several projects across eleven municipalities in the Lesser Poland region.
