L 574 road renovations to cause closures near Pforzheim

The Regierungspräsidium Karlsruhe has announced significant traffic restrictions on the L 574 between Pforzheim and Huchenfeld due to road surface renovations. Starting Monday, October 19, the approximately 3.6-kilometer stretch will undergo full closures in two construction phases to address cracks, porous areas, and structural damage.

The first phase, running from Kupferhammer in Pforzheim to the midpoint of the Hoheneck parking area, is expected to conclude by November 9. The second phase will extend from the Hoheneck inn to just past the Industriestraße junction in Huchenfeld, with an estimated completion date of November 30.

During these works, traffic will be diverted through the Würm Valley via Würmstraße, Würmer Hauptstraße, and Würmtalstraße. Heavy goods vehicles will be subject to different routing due to weight restrictions.
