L Catterton invests in AI shopping platform Glance

Private equity firm L Catterton has made a strategic investment in Glance, an AI-powered personal shopping platform operated by a subsidiary of InMobi. While the financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, the move signals a significant bet on the rise of agentic commerce.

Glance functions as a digital personal shopper by learning user preferences, searching the web for deals, and offering virtual try-ons before facilitating purchases. The service is integrated across various digital environments, including smartphones, Android TV, and DirecTV. In the United States, the platform is accessible on more than 60 million devices and currently reports 10 million monthly active users.

L Catterton CEO Scott Dahnke stated that agentic commerce is fundamentally changing how consumers discover and purchase products, making the journey more personal and intuitive. Naveen Tewari, founder and CEO of InMobi and Glance, noted that the investment validates their model of moving commerce beyond traditional search toward agentic shopping.
