Lê Hoằng Bá Huyền Appointed Rector of Hong Duc University after Merger
Professor Dr. Lê Hoằng Bá Huyền was appointed by the Chairman of the Thanh Hóa Provincial People's Council as rector of Hong Duc University following the merger of the University of Culture, Sports and Tourism Thanh Hóa into Hong Duc University. The merger, approved by the Prime Minister, expands the university to 19,572 students across 8 doctoral, 25 master's and 54 undergraduate programmes.
After the integration, the university employs 924 staff members, including 125 in managerial positions. Seven vice‑rectors were also appointed alongside Dr. Huyền, who was born in 1979 in Hoằng Tiến, Thanh Hóa, and previously served as rector of Thanh Hóa Agricultural College.
