Él Mató a un Policía Motorizado performs in Buenos Aires with Messi tribute

The Argentine indie rock band Él Mató a un Policía Motorizado performed a high-profile concert at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires. During the performance of their song ‘El tesoro’, the band paid tribute to footballer Lionel Messi by projecting his image onto the main screen.

Led by Santiago Motorizado, the La Plata-based group delivered a setlist featuring hits such as ‘Navidad en Los Santos’, ‘La noche eterna’, and ‘Chica rutera’. The concert was characterized by a mix of melodic intimacy and energetic crowd participation, including ‘pogo’ dancing. This gesture follows a similar tribute the band performed in Madrid in July 2023, where they honored the Argentine national football team.
