Lê Nguyễn Bảo Ngọc, representing the host nation Vietnam, has emerged as a top contender in the 73rd Miss World competition currently held in Vietnam. Following activities in Quang Ninh and Hai Phong, the beauty news outlet Sash Factor released its second set of predictions, placing Bảo Ngọc at the top of the list to win the crown. She has moved up from third place in previous rankings, ahead of representatives from Brazil, Venezuela, Bolivia, and the Czech Republic.

Beauty expert Osmel Sousa has also identified Bảo Ngọc as one of the leading contestants in the Asia-Pacific region, noting that her standing is based on her performance and merit rather than host-country advantage. Standing 1.86 meters tall, the 2001-born contestant has drawn attention for her professional demeanor and fashion versatility during the competition's intensive schedule.

The Miss World 2026 pageant is scheduled to run from August 8 to September 5, with activities moving through locations including Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, and Nha Trang. The contestants recently participated in sash ceremonies and group activities in Hai Phong.
