Lê Thái Sâm returns as Chairman of Bamboo Airways

Bamboo Airways has announced a change in its leadership and business registration. Lê Thái Sâm has returned to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors and is now the legal representative of the airline. This marks the eighth change in the chairmanship since early 2022.

Mr. Sâm, who has been a significant financial supporter of the airline, previously provided loans exceeding 7,700 billion VND to assist the company during its restructuring phase following legal issues involving FLC Group and Trịnh Văn Quyết. He had previously held the chairmanship from July 2023 to February 2024 before stepping down in late 2025.

In addition to the leadership change, the airline has updated its business registration. While air passenger transport remains its primary business, Bamboo Airways has added film, video, and television program post-production to its list of business activities. The total number of registered business lines has been adjusted from 130 to 124.
