L1 Group and Allan Gray expand teams and launch new investment ventures

Australian investment firms Allan Gray and L1 Capital are expanding their leadership teams through key senior appointments. Allan Gray has appointed Andrew Campion, formerly of the ASX, as its product strategy and delivery lead for a six-month term. Campion will review the firm’s product suite and explore potential future solutions, such as ETFs.

L1 Capital has appointed Joel Rosen as head of private markets to support the expansion of its direct-to-consumer channel. Rosen joins from Wingate Capital and brings extensive experience in real estate deal and capital origination.

In a separate strategic move, L1 Group is backing former analyst Andrew Lin to launch PXC Advisors. The new venture will launch its flagship Dynamic Return Strategy to external investors in September. The strategy, which has been managed internally since January 2024, targets annual returns of at least 10% by investing in up to 60 stocks across developed and emerging markets, with a focus on technology, industrials, and healthcare sectors.
