L3Harris achieves military tech milestones in US and Australia

L3Harris Technologies has achieved several technological milestones in defense communications and integration. During U.S. Army Operation Jailbreak events, five L3Harris systems earned “Jailbroken” status. This designation confirms that the technologies possess standards-based application programming interfaces, allowing for open-system integration into future networks. The recognized systems include the Falcon IV radio family, Wraith waveform and Wraith Shield software, WESCAM MX-Series sensors, and VAMPIRE counter-unmanned systems.

In Australia, L3Harris has secured a contract under Project Land 4111 to provide an integrated command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) solution for the Bushmaster 4x4 protected mobility vehicle. The three-year deal involves upgrading over 80 vehicles to enhance the operational connectivity and mission effectiveness of the Australian Defence Force. Development for this project is being conducted at the company’s Indo-Pacific Regional Support Centre in Brisbane.
