La-33 to celebrate 25 years of salsa in Bogotá

The Colombian salsa orchestra La-33 will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a concert at the Royal Center in Bogotá on November 21, 2026. The event is designed as a communal space to channel collective energy through music and dance.

Over its career, the group has released five studio albums, four EPs, and 13 singles, performing more than 2,000 concerts across five continents. Their debut album was recognized by Rolling Stone as one of the 50 best salsa albums in history. To mark the anniversary, the band will release ‘Watermelon Man’, an unreleased track from their original recording sessions, in mid-October.

The commemorative show will feature special guests, historical collaborations, and DJ sets by Loa Malbec and Santiago Rivas, alongside a performance by the tropical music group Los Corraleros de Majagual.
