La Angostura Reserve undergoes cleaning to promote sustainable tourism

The Ente Autárquico Tucumán Turismo (EATT) conducted a cleaning and environmental education campaign at the La Angostura Provincial Reserve in Argentina. The initiative aimed to strengthen sustainable tourism and preserve the province's natural resources.

The operation involved multiple government levels and private sectors, covering areas from the El Mollar pier to the recently recovered former Yacht Club site and the bird observation lookout. Participating entities included the General Directorate of Environmental Health, the Subdirectorate of Protected Natural Areas, the Provincial Road Directorate, and local municipalities from El Mollar and Tafí del Valle.

This environmental effort coincides with Tafí del Valle’s candidacy to join the ONU Turismo Best Tourism Villages network, a global distinction recognizing towns committed to environmental, cultural, and social sustainability.
