Fundación Eurocaja Rural honored for disability inclusion efforts

Fundación Eurocaja Rural has been recognized at the 30th edition of the Laurel Awards in Murcia, Spain. The distinction, proposed by ASTRAPACE, celebrates the foundation's commitment to the social and professional inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

A key factor in this recognition is the ‘WORKIN’ program, which has been active since 2014 to promote employment opportunities and autonomy for individuals with disabilities. The award ceremony, held at the Víctor Villegas Auditorium, honored various contributions to inclusion, including labor hiring, training, and support for specialized centers.

Additionally, Fundación Eurocaja Rural and Plena Inclusión España have launched the second edition of ‘Talento Artístico: Comunidad creativa inclusiva’. This national call for projects aims to support artistic and cultural initiatives as drivers for social inclusion, offering 12,000 euros in total aid to four selected projects across disciplines such as visual arts, music, and literature.
