La Araucanía regional cabinet tests negative in drug screenings

The presidential delegate of La Araucanía, Francisco Ljubetic, along with the provincial delegate of Malleco, Víctor Manoli, and all regional ministerial secretaries, voluntarily underwent toxicological examinations. All results were 100% negative for illicit substance consumption.

This initiative is part of a government agenda focused on transparency, probity, and combating drug trafficking. The measure aligns with a constitutional reform proposed by President José Antonio Kast, which seeks to make such drug tests mandatory for various state authorities and mandate the removal from office for those who test positive.
