La Bañeza advances accessibility improvements at Reyes Católicos park

The La Bañeza City Council is advancing a renovation program for the Reyes Católicos park to improve accessibility and modernization. The current phase focuses on the children's playground located in the Reyes Católicos plaza, aiming to reduce physical barriers and ensure the space can be used by citizens of all ages and abilities.

This initiative follows a previous municipal intervention in April 2025, which included an investment of approximately 15,000 euros to incorporate accessible mats and other elements to promote inclusive play. The municipality intends for the renovated park to become a reference point for accessibility within the province of León.
