La Banda celebrates cultural heritage and local educators

The city of La Banda celebrated ‘Día de la Cultura Bandeña’ at Plaza Manuel Belgrano to honor the legacy of educators and cultural figures Domingo Bravo and Ricardo Dino Taralli.

The event, organized by the Municipal Council of Culture and the local municipality, commemorated both men, who passed away on August 27 in 1997 and 1999, respectively. Attendees participated in reviews of their professional trajectories and listened to readings of their works to preserve their influence for younger generations.

During the ceremony, Vice Mayor Gabriel Santillán presented a copy of the ordinance declaring the initiative of Municipal, Educational, and Cultural Interest. Additionally, the Municipal Council of Culture received a Declaration of Legislative, Cultural, and Social Interest from the Chamber of Deputies of the Province of Santiago del Estero. The celebration included various musical and traditional artistic performances.
