La Banda to hold ceremony for Culture Day honoring local professors

The Municipal Council of Culture of La Banda, supported by the Municipality of La Banda, has invited the community to participate in a ceremony for ‘Día de la Cultura Bandeña’ (La Banda Culture Day). The event will take place on Thursday the 27th at 18:30 in Plaza Belgrano.

The ceremony honors two prominent local figures, professors Domingo Bravo and Ricardo Dino Taralli. The date holds special significance because both individuals passed away on August 27, two years apart: Bravo in 1997 and Taralli in 1999.

In recognition of their contributions to education, culture, and local identity, the day was officially established by an ordinance promulgated in 2004. The event aims to preserve the memory of these figures and celebrate the cultural heritage of the city.
