La Bella Italia celebrates 22 years of Italian tradition in Fortaleza

The restaurant La Bella Italia is celebrating 22 years of operation in Fortaleza, Brazil. Founded in 2004 by Italian entrepreneur Luca Lunghi, the establishment is located in Praia de Iracema and focuses on authentic Italian culinary traditions.

The restaurant is recognized for its artisanal production of fresh pasta, seafood, and Neapolitan pizza. Its pizza brand, Leggerissima Pizza Napoletana, uses Italian flour and tomatoes with a natural fermentation process of up to 72 hours. This quality led the restaurant to be included in the 50 Top Pizza guide as one of the “Pizzarias de Excelência” in Latin America.

La Bella Italia holds the Italian Hospitality Seal and was the first establishment in Fortaleza to join the Accademia Italiana della Cucina. The restaurant has received multiple awards, including six titles for Best Italian Restaurant in Fortaleza from the Melhores Sabores da Cidade awards. The team also includes recognized professionals such as sommelier Rangel Barbosa.
