La BOMBANCE Kouri Island introduces craft sake pairings from Akita's Ineto Agave

La BOMBANCE Kouri Island, a restaurant located within the One Suite THE GRAND hotel in Okinawa, has announced a new partnership to serve craft sake produced by Ineto Agave, a brewery based in Oga, Akita Prefecture.

The collaboration aims to create a unique culinary experience by pairing Okinawa's local ingredients with craft sake, a new category of alcohol that uses traditional sake brewing techniques but incorporates ingredients like fruits, herbs, and hops. This initiative connects two geographically distant regions—Oga in the north and Kouri Island in the south—through shared values of regional revitalization and food culture.

Ineto Agave focuses on producing diverse fermented beverages that fall outside traditional sake legal definitions, such as doburoku. The partnership seeks to highlight the diverse flavor profiles of these beverages when paired with seafood, vegetables, and meat dishes specific to Okinawa.
