La Bottega di EMILIO opens first direct retail store in Naha
La Bottega di EMILIO, a fresh salami producer based in Yamanashi Prefecture, has opened its first direct-managed retail store in Naha City, Okinawa. The new shop is located within LIQUID THE STORE in the Tsuboya district.
Led by representative Daichi Furuya, the workshop utilizes traditional Italian production methods learned from masters in Cremona, Lombardy. The shop offers four varieties of signature fresh salami, including products made from Yamanashi’s brand Koshu Fujizakura Pork. The establishment also features a dining area where customers can pair the salami with natural wines, sake, craft beer, and distilled spirits.
Future plans for the Okinawa location include developing new salami products using local Okinawan pork and ingredients, as well as providing wholesale services to restaurants. Yoshinobu Shinmachi, representative of the Tokyo-based specialty shop Salumeria 69, has joined as an ambassador to support the new location through future events and workshops.
