La Boverie Museum Launches Summer Behind-the-Scenes Exhibition Program in Liège
La Boverie in Liège is running a summer programme centred on its “Achter de schermen van een Collectie” exhibition, which remains on view until 23 August 2026. The initiative invites visitors to explore museum conservation, restoration and research through guided tours, sensory experiences and interactive activities.
Free‑admission days are offered on Sundays 5 July and 2 August, and a “Slow in the Museum” event on 12 July features pilates sessions, an olfactory‑focused tour and a tactile walkthrough. The exhibition will close with a family‑friendly afternoon on 23 August, including giant puzzles, a collaborative pixel‑art project and a “Flowers of the Museum” workshop.
The programme aims to deepen public engagement with the museum’s collections and to provide varied cultural experiences throughout the summer.
