La Buvette opens as new French wine bar in Potts Point

The Goodies Hospitality has opened La Buvette, a new French-inspired wine bar in Potts Point. Led by co-owners Sali and Nathan Sasi alongside Morgan McGlone, the venue aims to replicate the intimate atmosphere of Parisian wine bars.

The establishment serves as a revival of the original La Buvette that closed in 2019. The menu features classic French bistro dishes with a modern edge, including oysters with Champagne granita, escargots with café de Paris butter, and various desserts like charred macarons.

A curated drinks program by Group Sommelier Ishan Kaplish offers French wines and international varietals, including 23 wines available by the glass and French-inspired cocktails. The venue provides nine bookable indoor seats and 30 walk-in seats outside.
