La Calera Municipal Stadium completes new lighting installation

The Municipal Stadium ‘Nicolás Chahuán Nazar’ in La Calera has completed the installation of a new lighting system. The project involved the installation of 120 LED luminaires manufactured by Yuluz, which significantly increased the facility's luminous capacity from 473 lux to 1,640 lux.

The investment was a collaborative effort: Unión La Calera covered the cost of the luminaires, totaling approximately 221 million pesos, while the Municipality of La Calera approved and funded the installation work through IDR Chile, costing roughly 79.5 million pesos. This upgrade aims to meet the artificial lighting requirements set by the ANFP for national competitions next year and align with Conmebol standards, pending official certification.
