La Candelaria Local Mayor's Office announces accountability hearing

The La Candelaria Local Mayor's Office has issued a public call for residents, business owners, and community leaders to attend an accountability hearing regarding the 2026 fiscal year. The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Simón Bolívar Auditorium at Universidad La Gran Colombia.

Led by Local Mayor Angélica María Angarita Serrano, the session aims to present progress on urban infrastructure, social inclusion programs, and economic reactivation strategies. The administration will also detail public space interventions and the management of resources allocated to social organizations.

Under the slogan “¡Tu voz decide!”, the meeting will include direct dialogue tables to address community concerns and allow citizens to propose social priorities. This initiative is part of a broader social control exercise being conducted by the twenty local mayoralties in Bogotá following guidelines from the District Secretariat of Government.
