La Cantine à domicile expands meal delivery to Bas-Saint-Laurent

The home meal delivery service ‘La Cantine à domicile’ has expanded to the Bas-Saint-Laurent region in Quebec. Through a partnership with the social economy enterprise Les Cuisiniers Différents, the service is now available to approximately 1,500 households in the municipalities of Padoue, Price, Sainte-Angèle-de-Mérici, and Saint-Octave-de-Métis.

Customers can order affordable frozen meals online or by telephone. The program includes a social pricing component for individuals aged 55 and older who are experiencing economic vulnerability. With referrals from partner organizations, these clients can receive discounts of 50% to 75%, bringing meal costs down to between $7 and $8.
