Hilaire and Laura Damiron win La Carrera Panamericana 2026
Hilaire and Laura Damiron have secured their third La Carrera Panamericana title, following previous victories in 2016 and 2023. The Franco-Brazilian duo crossed the finish line in Zacatecas after a seven-day race that spanned multiple Mexican states, including Chiapas, Veracruz, Mexico City, Puebla, Querétaro, Guanajuato, San Luis Potosí, and Zacatecas.
Competing in a 1954 Studebaker Commander, the pair achieved key stage wins during the third, fourth, and sixth days of the competition. The vehicle featured a blue, red, and white livery to honor both Hilaire’s French heritage and the 200th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mexico and France.
Emilio Velázquez and Javier Marín took second place, while Jorge Pedrero and Sergio Contreras finished third. In the final day's stage, Char García and Lalo Solís recorded the fastest times.
