TelevisaUnivision reported that the fourth elimination gala of La Casa de los Famosos México 2026 achieved significant viewership, reaching over 11.8 million people and leading Sunday programming by 84%.

To boost engagement and address audience criticism regarding a lack of conflict, production canceled the traditional positioning segment. This change coincided with the introduction of a new dynamic called ‘La Mudanza’ (The Move), which targets participants perceived as less committed to the game, often referred to as ‘muebles’ (furniture).

During the recent broadcasts, Moisés Peñaloza was eliminated from the competition. Additionally, participants Yanet García, Luis Chaparro, and Ese Pérez were voted by the public as ‘muebles’ and sent to ‘El Exilio’ (The Exile).

Amidst the show's developments, participant Memo Schutz has faced renewed social media scrutiny regarding a 2020 allegation involving a vehicular incident, a claim his supporters have addressed by focusing on his current performance in the reality show.
