Gala Montes voluntarily leaves La Casa de los Famosos México

Gala Montes has voluntarily departed from La Casa de los Famosos México, only two days after re-entering the reality show as a surprise participant. Her return followed the elimination of Flor Vigna and the departure of Aldo Rendón due to health issues. Montes had previously reached third place in the 2024 season.

Her brief return sparked significant controversy. Her mother, Crista Montes de Oca, publicly criticized the production, stating that the show was exposing her daughter's dignity for ratings and arguing that “humanity must come before ratings.” Other participants and viewers expressed concern regarding Montes's emotional well-being, with some reports suggesting she experienced an anxiety attack that led to her medical recommendation to leave.

Televisa producer Rosa María Noguerón defended the production's decision to bring Montes back, noting it was a strategic move to revitalize the competition. Meanwhile, the show saw the elimination of Argentine contestant Flor Vigna during the same period.
