Gala Montes exits La Casa de los Famosos México amid controversy

The Mexican reality show ‘La Casa de los Famosos México’ is facing significant controversy following the abrupt departure of actress Gala Montes. Montes, who participated for only 48 hours, has denied claims of a voluntary resignation, asserting instead that production forced her out after she requested medical supplies during her menstrual cycle.

Her exit has sparked a heated dispute with journalist Joanna Vega-Biestro. Vega-Biestro reported on Montes’ difficult situation in the confession booth, leading Montes to accuse the host of spreading false information and involving her minor daughter in the conflict. Vega-Biestro has indicated she is seeking legal counsel to protect her child.

Amidst the tension, Montes has made headlines for a radical change in appearance, revealing a shaved head on social media. Other public figures, including Yolanda Andrade, have offered support to the actress, while the show continues with its regular voting and nomination cycles involving remaining contestants like Brianda Deyanara and Karina Torres.
