La Casa del Teatre Nu presents “Ball de nit” theatrical show

La Casa del Teatre Nu will present “Ball de nit,” a new production by Judit M. Gené, on October 4. The performance aims to revive the tradition of town festival dances through a combination of live music, theatre, and humor.

Featuring the Orquestra Silvestra—composed of Gené and Rai Borrell—the show revisits the atmosphere of historical festivities using pasodobles, boleros, tangos, and other popular melodies. The production is based on research involving interviews with individuals aged 70 to 90 to capture authentic memories of social dancing and the emotional significance of these community gatherings.
