La Ceja launches entrepreneurship contest with $52.5 million in prizes

The municipal administration of La Ceja, through the Secretariat of Economic Development and Competitiveness, has opened applications for the “IDEAS que se cuidan y florecen” entrepreneurship contest. The initiative aims to strengthen productive projects in both urban and rural areas of the municipality.

The competition features a total prize pool of $52,500,000, divided into two categories. The General Category is open to various sectors, offering nine prizes ranging from $3,500,000 to $9,000,000. The Scalable Category is reserved for previous winners who can demonstrate growth, organizational development, or formalization, with a first-place prize of $4,500,000.

In addition to financial incentives, the program provides training and support to enhance entrepreneurial capabilities. To qualify, applicants must reside in La Ceja and possess a minimum viable product that has been validated in the market. The application period remains open until September 15, 2026.
