La Ceja tourism workers undergo labor competency certification
In La Ceja, 43 workers within the tourism sector are undergoing a process to certify their labor competencies. This initiative is a collaboration between the local Secretariat of Economic Development and Environmental Sustainability and the National Learning Service (SENA).
The certification process aims to recognize the knowledge, skills, and experience acquired through professional practice to improve the quality of service for visitors. The program focuses on three specific areas: customer service, sales of products and services, and customer management.
Participants include employees and representatives from various local establishments, such as hotels Aures, Confort, Los Ponchos, Emma, Portobello, Casa Oriente, and Santa María, as well as operators like Zona Bici, Explora Antioquia, Sazón del Pacífico, and Eventos Serranía.
