Cartagena beach discovery: Two relatives found dead from gunshot wounds

Two people, identified as relatives, were found dead on Monday morning at San Sebastián beach in the Cartagena commune, Valparaíso Region. The victims, a man and a woman, died from gunshot wounds.

Preliminary investigations by the PDI Homicide Brigade and the Valparaíso Regional Prosecutor's Office suggest a possible homicide-suicide. Authorities noted that a firearm registered to one of the deceased was found at the scene. Evidence, including a letter left at the location, indicates the victims may have been struggling with mental health issues and depression.
