Dominican urban singer La Demente was involved in a traffic accident early Monday morning after leaving a party. The incident resulted in material damage but no serious injuries were reported. Following the event, the artist expressed gratitude for her safety, stating, “He has a purpose with me.”

The accident occurs amidst the rising popularity of her recent single, “Mofia.” The track has become a viral sensation on TikTok, inspiring numerous user-generated challenges and choreographies. The song's reach extended to American rapper Cardi B, who shared a video of herself singing the track on her Instagram stories.

The official music video for “Mofia,” filmed in the Capotillo sector of Santo Domingo, has surpassed 1.6 million views on YouTube since its release two months ago.
