La Dolce Vita Orient Express announces new 2027 Italian itineraries

La Dolce Vita Orient Express has announced a new collection of luxury rail itineraries across Italy scheduled to debut in 2027. The new routes focus on slow travel, connecting iconic destinations through scenic landscapes and high-end gastronomy.

Three primary routes have been unveiled:

• A journey from Rome to Venice, passing through Portofino and Florence, highlighting the Riviera and Renaissance architecture. • ‘The Italian Wine Route,’ which travels between Bolgheri and Verona to celebrate the country’s enological traditions. • ‘The Truffle Route,’ which starts in Alba and traverses the Langhe region, focusing on white truffles and local wines such as Barolo and Barbaresco.

Tickets for these luxury experiences are expected to start at prices exceeding 5,000 euros.
