La Dolce Vita Orient Express offers luxury rail travel through Italy

The La Dolce Vita Orient Express offers a luxury rail journey through Italy, traveling from Rome to Venice with a stop in Portofino. The experience is designed to evoke the glamour of the 1960s and 1970s through Italian design, gastronomy, and music.

The train's interior, designed by Dimorestudio, incorporates influences from masters such as Carlo Scarpa, Gio Ponti, and Ignazio Gardella, alongside references to the Spazialismo movement. Historical photography by Marcello Geppetti lines the corridors to enhance the nostalgic atmosphere.

Culinary offerings include a menu by Michelin-starred chef Heinz Beck served in the dining car. The itinerary includes excursions to Portofino via private boat and minivan, allowing passengers to visit landmarks such as Castello Brown and the Church of San Giorgio.
