La Fageda social value rises to €73 million, up 12%
The social project La Fageda de Santa Pau in Garrotxa reported a total social value of €73 million for the first half of 2026, representing a 12 % increase over the previous year. The organisation’s integrated social value methodology estimates that each euro invested generates €13 of benefit for society.
La Fageda’s community consists of 850 people, of whom 77 % belong to vulnerable groups and 470 have employment contracts with the project. The calculation separates market value (€62.2 million in 2025) and non‑market social value (€11.1 million in 2025). Reported benefits include €5.6 million for people served, €2.9 million for families and about €660 000 for the wider community.
