La Fúmiga cancels Bastoners set and headlines farewell concert in Andorra

The Catalan band La Fúmiga refused to accommodate the local group Bastoners Lauredians during a concert that was to close a Monday‑night show. The venue could not meet the group’s space request, and after a failed negotiation the band declined any alternative placement, marking the first time since 2017 that the Bastoners missed a spot on the stage.

Separately, La Fúmiga performed in Sant Julià de Lòria, Andorra, as part of the town’s festa major. Lead singer Artur Martínez described the appearance as both the first and last for the group in Andorra, noting the audience’s enthusiasm and the band’s aim to connect with local culture during their farewell tour. The concert was highlighted as a key moment in the band’s announced farewell circuit that will also include venues such as Poble Espanyol, Canet Rock and a final show at the Palau de la Música Catalana in November.
