LA Foods opens new Nisa flagship store in Islington

LA Foods has opened its 14th store, a 3,000 sq ft flagship location in Islington, London, featuring the new Nisa fascia. The opening on 8 August celebrates a 25-year partnership between LA Foods and Co-op Wholesale, which recently extended its contract for an additional five years.

The new store on Holloway Road includes several modern retail features, such as electronic shelf edge labels to improve pricing accuracy and streamline operations, an expanded chilled range, and a dedicated food-to-go section with an in-store coffee station. A prominent produce island at the entrance highlights loose fresh fruits and vegetables.

As part of the launch, the store will showcase community support through the Co-op Wholesale ‘Making A Difference Locally’ charity. The retailer intends to continue utilizing Co-op Wholesale to stock its brand range across its London-based estate.
